Community Council Consultation

On 27 August 2024 the Council’s Corporate Committee agreed the framework for the review of the Council’s Moray Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils and the arrangements for the Community Council Elections in 2025.

The first consultation period is now open to all members of the public to share their views. The consultation will remain open until 23 October 2024. 

All comments received will be collated and following the close of the first consultation period the proposed revised scheme will be presented at the Council’s Corporate Committee on 5 November 2024 for consideration.
