Learning Disability Partnership

The Partnership

The Learning Disability Partnership was set up in 2012.

It is open to anyone with an interest in learning disability issues and includes people with learning disabilities, family carers, people from Moray Council, NHS Grampian and organisations which provide services.

The partnership meets every three months and is led by both a citizen leader who has a learning disability and someone who works for one of the partner organisations.

People from the group  worked together to write the new learning disability plan for Moray which sets out what things we need over the next 10 years to support people with learning disabilities and their family carers.

Now that we have a plan the people that are working to make it happen will come and tell the partnership about the changes that are going on and people talk about what needs to happen next.

Our Life, Our Way

Our Lives, Our Way 2013 - 2023 is a new learning disability plan for Moray which has been written by people with learning disabilities, their families and people who work in support services.

You can read the plan and its supporting documents by following the link below.

Consultation on the draft plan took place between November 2013 and January 2014.

You can read what people told us.
