What can I change online for my Council Tax?

You can now complete an online form though Moray Council to make changes to your Council Tax account. These changes happen in real-time and will be verified by a member of staff. You will receive confirmation of this change by email, followed by amended Council Tax bills.

Direct Debit

You can sign up to pay by Direct Debit, change your payment frequency, change your bank details, or cancel your Direct Debit online by accessing this webpage.

Change of Address

If you are moving from OUTSIDE Moray, to notify us you have purchased or leased a property in Moray and want to pay Council Tax., access this webpage. 

If you are moving OUT of a property in Moray at which you are liable for Council Tax and you will be moving to another property in Moray or outwith Moray, access this webpage.

Single Person Discount

You can apply for discount if you have always LIVED ALONE or if all other members of your household have MOVED OUT, by accessing this webpage.
