Empty Homes Detection Review

Long Term Empty Properties are dwellings which have been empty for more than 12 months.  Moray Council has a policy that these attract an 100% Additional Council Tax charge.

Moray Council seeks to ensure the accuracy of its Council Tax data by making appropriate use of all sources of data which are available to it.  This review will permit us to ensure that all long-term empty properties have been accurately identified and that the 100% Additional Council Tax charge has been levied where it is appropriate to do so.
