If you find it difficult to get around, there are a number of travel options and services that can make it easier for you.

Concessionary Travel 

Transport Scotland is responsible for running concessionary travel schemes which provide free or discounted travel on public transport for younger, older or disabled people

Blue Badge Scheme

The Blue Badge Scheme provides a range of parking and other motoring concessions for people with severe mobility problems. You can now apply for a badge on line or at the Moray Resource Centre

Dial M for Moray Bus 

Dial M for Moray Bus An accessible door to door bus service for anyone, regardless of age or disability, who is unable to use existing forms of transport or does not have access to a regular bus service. The current service operates in Forres and Speyside, with a six month pilot underway in Speymouth.

Speyside Car Sharing Scheme 

A community-based transport scheme for the Speyside area. Call 01340 831748 between 9am and 5pm, giving at least 48 hours notice before a booking.

Motability Scheme - DirectGov  

Buying and adapting a car can be expensive. The Motability Scheme - GOV.UK   External website logo this scheme is run by the independent charity Motability - gives disabled people the opportunity to lease a car at an affordable price.
