Residential Care for Young People

Residential Care in Moray is provided on behalf of the Council by Action for Children and Aberlour Child Care Trust.

Action for Children operate two units (in Elgin and Buckie) for young people who are generally of secondary school age. Residential care for children with disabilities is provided at Alba Place, Elgin - an Aberlour Project.

The need for children and young people to receive residential care is determined by assessment through Area Social Work Teams.
