Moray Development Plan
Adopted Plan 2015
The Council’s Planning and Regulatory Services Committee (special meeting) on 24th June 2015 approved the modifications arising from the Examination process and the Council submitted the Plan on 26th June 2015 to the Scottish Government.
The current Moray Local Development Plan was formally adopted on 31st July 2015

The Moray Structure Plan
The Moray Structure Plan (PDF) (36 pages, 253 KB) which sets out the strategic framework for the way in which Moray should develop.
Previous Moray Local Plan
Local Plans convert Structure Plan proposals to a more local level and contain specific policies and land use allocations for towns and villages.
There were two Local Plans covering Moray.
The majority of Moray was covered by the Moray Local Plan 2008.
The southern part of Moray, which lies within the Cairngorms National Park, is covered by the Cairngorms Park Local Plan
