Cycle parking

The council recognises the importance of supplying cycle parking facilities, to enable people to complete or continue their AT journey and leave bicycles safely secured. Parking facilities are often available at crucial destinations, such as train and bus stations, health facilities and schools. The council can apply for funding annually to install new cycle parking where needed.

To request cycle parking, either submit through the Online Feedback Tool, or contact the AT team at activetravel@moray.gov.uk. Priorities are given to transport interchanges (bus stops and train stations), health facilities, sport facilities, community hubs and places of work and education

Businesses are encouraged to have a ‘Travel to Work’ plan in place and provide facilities such as cycle parking, showers and lockers at work, and staff are encouraged to discuss this with their employer. For more information about travel to work, please contact activetravel@moray.gov.uk.
