Community Engagement and the Online Feedback Tool

As part of the Moray Local Development Plan 2027 (LDP), public consultations were held during 2023 throughout several settlements. The aim was to collect feedback from members of the public on the current AT network across Moray, and where they would like to see improvements. In addition to public consultation meetings, members of the public have had other opportunities to let council officers know what they think should be improved in terms of AT. For instance, Bike Fests are held various times a year, as well as the annual Speyside Challenge.

In addition, the council launched an Online Feedback Tool in 2023 which specifically addresses issues relating to active travel. The online tool allows the public to provide feedback on active travel in their local communities.
