Shaping the Future of Moray

The Moray Local Development Plan 2027 Evidence Report was approved by Council on the 24 April 2024. This has been submitted to the Scottish Government Division for Planning and Environmental Appeals (DPEA) for the Gatecheck. For further information see Scottish Government – DPEA

Evidence Report

The Evidence Report sets out the baseline information that will inform the new Moray LDP. The Report contains a summary of what the evidence means for the new LDP. The Report is considered to provide a sufficient evidence base on which to prepare the new Moray LDP.

Extensive engagement has informed the evidence base for the new Moray LDP. The Engagement Statement within the Evidence Report sets out in detail how the views of the groups specified in the Act (children and young people, disabled people, gypsy’s and travellers, Community Council’s, the public at large and key agencies) have been sought and taken into account.
