Fair Travel Scheme - Reduced Cost Public Transport

Stagecoach and Moray Council are committed to Corporate Parenting and have worked together to create the Care Experienced Young Person Fair Travel Scheme. 

This scheme entitles holders of the CEYP Fair Travel Card access to discounted fares on Stagecoach and Moray Council buses, subject to service availability within the Moray area.

To be eligible you must have been looked after by the local authority at a point in your life,  which includes looked after at home, in kinship or foster care, or residential care, even if you are no longer looked after.  The scheme is open to young people up to the age of 25.

Discounted fares

Zone 1

Elgin City: £1.80 - Valid for travel within Elgin city and as far as Spynie Hospital, Eight Acres Hotel, Buccaneer Petrol Station and Reiket Lane. 

Zone 2

Elgin City Plus: £3.00 - valid for unlimited travel on all Stagecoach services in Elgin City and as far as Alves, Crooked Inn, Fogwatt, Lhanbryde, Lossiemouth, Burghead.

Zone 3

Moray Area: £6.00 - valid for unlimited travel on all Stagecoach services in Elgin City and as far as Forres, Dufftown, Keith, Portessie.

Zone 4

Moray Coast: £6.80 - valid for unlimited travel on all Stagecoach services in Elgin City and as far as Forres, Dufftown, Huntly, Turriff, Cuminestown, New Byth, Pennan.
