The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary, non-competitive programme that aims to provide young people, aged between 14 and 25, with an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding programme of personal and social development, regardless of gender, ability or background.

The Award helps young people develop new skills, try new activities and support their local community through volunteering, whilst working towards gaining an accreditation that is recognised and valued by colleges, universities and employers.

DofE in Moray is reliant on our volunteers. This includes teachers and other volunteers who freely give their own time to help run DofE groups, facilitate, coach and mentor activities, and supervise expeditions. All are keen to share their skills and enthusiasm to help young people reach their potential.
