Banffshire Educational Trust
The Banff Educational Trust grant is for residents, schools and organisations in the former county of Banffshire. This area includes Buckie, Keith and the areas of Aberdeenshire that were in the former county of Banffshire.
Grants are available for:
- further education students who are resident in the former county of Banffshire
- educational excursions for school pupils or young people attending schools or further education centres in the former county of Banffshire
- schools and further education centres in the former county of Banffshire to undertake educational excursions or purchase educational equipment, and
- clubs and organisations for the benefit of people of the former County of Banffshire (for sports facility maintenance and travel expenses; educational activities; adult education; and promoting education in drama, music and visual arts)

Financial circumstances will be taken into account when reviewing an application. Your household earnings should not exceed £34,000 per year. Applicants must be ordinarily resident in the former county of Banffshire for the 3 years immediately prior to the start date of course or activity.
The closing date for all applications is 30 September each year.
