Moray Open Award Centre

Moray Open Award Centre

Moray Open Award Centre (MOAC) meets each Tuesday between November and May to support participants. Meetings will be held each Tuesday at the Elgin Community Centre from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. For participants who cannot attend every meeting we will run a series of online sessions to mirror the training being carried out at the Community Centre.

MOAC is open to anyone wishing to do their Gold DofE Award in Moray but cannot access a group within a school or DofE centre. We also offer support for Bronze and Silver participants who find it difficult to complete an Award with their school centre.

MOAC covers the whole award programme. The Gold Expedition training framework is comprehensive and a great deal of time and effort is focused enabling you undertake your expedition with confidence. There will be time allocated at each meeting to talk about the whole award and any specific sections you may need help with.
