Element 12. Competency framework for records management staff
The Records Manager is a fully qualified records manager and archivist and is a member of the Information and Records Management Society (IRMS) and a registered member of the Archives and Records Association (ARA).
There is only one member of staff responsible for records management with no dedicated budget.
The Employee Development Unit are currently procuring an online training tool and the records manager will develop an online training pack for records management, including security and access to information modules.
A reference library of advice, guidance and information is available for all staff on the council intranet under Reference/Records Management
