Burghead War Memorial

Located at the junction of Grant Street and Granary Street the War Memorial commemorates soldiers who died in WW I and II. 

It is in the form of a tall cylindrical sandstone column with a carved lion at the top, projecting from a rectilinear pedestal on a stepped base. 

Each face of the base holds a memorial plaque listing names of soldiers from WW I.
