Council Contract Opportunities
Where The Moray Council has a requirement to purchase goods and services externally, opportunities (over £50,000 in value), will be advertised via the Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) website www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk.
Public Contracts Scotland also has a functionality called Supplier Finder which is an optional service for suppliers allowing them to advertise their company on the PCS website.
The Moray Council uses this tool to source suppliers for low value/low risk quotations and we would therefore encourage all suppliers to complete the supplier finder profile for their business. Read the Guidance on Supplier finder.
We would therefore request that suppliers do not contact the Council directly to promote their business.
Public Contracts Scotland
Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) is the national advertising website for Scottish public sector organisations to post contract notices and small contracts on the website and make subsequent awards. It also allows contracting authorities to invite suppliers to submit quotations electronically via the website’s secure tender postbox. Public Contract Scotland Tender (PCST) is the national eSourcing system provided by the Scottish Government and is used by the Scottish Public Sector to conduct procurement exercises.
By accessing and registering on these free websites you can view contracting opportunities for The Moray Council, as well as other Public Sector Organisations, and set-up your individual profile to receive the free contract email alert notifications relevant to your business interests.
