Moray Sensory Education Service (SES)
Our Sensory Education Service comprises the Hearing Education Service and Visual Education Service. We aim to promote access and opportunity for deaf and visually impaired children within Moray, to ensure they achieve their full potential. We do this by working collaboratively with parents and schools to ensure a high quality of education appropriate to the needs of the child. We also offer support, advice and training opportunities to school staff and parents.
Our SES team includes:
- Teachers who specialise in working with deaf and visually impaired children
- Support staff who are trained and experienced in working with pupils with sensory impairment and may also be qualified in using British Sign Language (BSL)/Braille
