This is the easiest and most versatile way to pay bills. You will need to complete a form and return it to us, we will forward it to your bank once we have set up your account for this method of payment.

A 1.8% charge on the value of all payments made by credit card is applicable. Debit card payments are not charged.

Please have your account reference ready and a valid debit or credit card. A 1.80% charge on the value of all payments made by credit card is applicable. Debit cards are free.
You will need to be the cardholder or the cardholder will need to confirm to the member of staff that you can act on their behalf.
Customers wanting to pay by cash will be issued with a plastic card that can be used at any Post Office or PayPoint
You will need to complete a mandate quoting your bill reference and the amount to be paid and send it on to your bank. To obtain a mandate, please telephone the Customer Contact Centre on 01343 563456. You will be responsible for telling your bank or building society the amount to pay and must do this each time it changes.

You can pay by cheque made payable to The Moray Council by sending your payment to the address shown on your bill. Please provide the account reference also shown on your bill. We will only send a receipt if you ask for one.
Please do not send cash by post.
If you wish to pay by cash please contact The Moray Council's Contact Team who will issue you with a Payment Card.
