Elgin Marriage Room

Our marriage room is situated in the Council Offices, Elgin, and is the perfect location for your Registrar’s Office wedding.  We can, however, attend other outside venues.

Our friendly and experienced registrars will be delighted to guide you through planning your ceremony. We can help tailor your ceremony to reflect you as a couple; with a selection of vows, readings, poetry and music.  Also, if you have a specific vision of what you would like to be included in the ceremony—hand fasting, candle ceremonies, involving family and friends—then the registrar will be happy to advise how your ideas can be accommodated. We’ll work with you to ensure you have a day to cherish and remember. Filming is permitted throughout.

Locally there are some stunning locations for your photographs, including the ruins of Elgin Cathedral and Cooper Park. For the more adventurous, why not climb to the top of Ladyhill for an awe-inspiring panoramic view of Elgin.

Accessible for wheelchairs and the less mobile.
