Cross Pavement Charging
We are aware that the Energy Savings Trust (EST) has opened funding for cross pavement charging equipment. At this point, the Council does not have a policy and is reviewing the recently published guidance from the Scottish Collaboration of Transportation Specialists (SCOTS) which is a strategic collaborative body representing Scotland’s 32 local authorities and seven regional transport partnerships. Moray Council’s approach will be informed by this guidance.
To be eligible for the grant you must have permission from the Council where the cross pavement charging solution would be in the public road.
Once Moray Council have prepared a draft policy and guidance this will be taken to Committee for consideration by Elected Members.
Further updates will be provided on this page.
