6. The Council does not receive a specific or ring fenced grant from the Scottish Government for school clothing grants. However, an element of the Council’s overall funding settlement is assessed as contributing towards the cost of schemes such as school clothing grants. Based on the funding settlement methodology, the amounts attributable to school clothing grants were as follows:
• 2024/25 - £527,000
• 2025/26 - £474,000
