Please could you list payments made into the council's accounts from the Scottish government’s (1) Nature Restoration Fund (NRF), (2) Coastal Change Adaptation Fund (CCAP) and (3) flood protection funding from its General Capital Grant.

For each individual payment please include:

•  The date the funds were received;
•  The amount of the funds;
•  Which of the three sources listed above the funds came from;
•  What the funds have been allocated to (e.g. the name of a specific project, name of another account the funds are held in, name of a given investment/spending plan);
•  Whether they have been spent and, if so, on what date.

If funds have been committed from the Scottish government but not yet received, please indicate this, as well as any intended allocation the council has decided on.

1.  & 2. For the Nature Restoration Fund, the following capital grants were received:

Project allocation to date has been outlined in committee reports and is therefore publicly available. For ease of reference, the approved project areas are:  

• Action for pollinators
• Biodiversity enhancement of key nature sites
• Invasive Non-Native Species removal
• Actions arising from emerging habitat and species data and the woodland strategy
• Rain gardens at schools and council buildings
• School conservation projects
• Community led nature projects

As at 1 December 2025, £472,000 has been spent.

We do not hold any information on potential future allocations from the Scottish Government. All intended allocation is outlined in the above reports.

3. We do not have the breakdown of the Flood Risk Management (FRM) capital grants, as these are included within the General Capital Grant. We have not received any specific funding from the Scottish Government for individual flood protection projects.
