2.      Does the Local Authority categorise dementia care placements using the Seven-Tiered Model of Service Delivery for Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD), where Tier 1 indicates no dementia and Tier 7 represents very severe BPSD requiring secure specialist inpatient care?

3.       If not, what framework or criteria does the Local Authority use to categorise differing levels of complexity in dementia care placements?

4.      Please provide the total number of older people (aged 65+) with dementia, funded by the Local Authoriy, receiving nursing care in a care home, for the financial year 2023/24, 2024/25 and 2025/26 (projected), broken down by the:

a)      Under £2,000 per week

b)      Over £2,000 per week

2. It is not a commonly used model in Moray.  

3. Placements are allocated according to resource and acuity and the recommendation of the multi disciplinary team.  Our care homes in Moray are all  independent and provide their own assessment as to whether they can accommodate the person.
