I am writing under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request information about the commissioning and provision of Falls Management Exercise (FaME) programmes.
FaME is a group based structured falls prevention programme delivered by Postural Stability Instructors (PSIs) trained by Later Life Training. It may be delivered under different local names.
We are collecting this information to map FaME provision across the UK, as part of a national analysis of falls prevention service provision to inform future policy and commissioning recommendations.
Please answer the following questions in relation to your organisation’s commissioning and/or provision of FaME during the financial year 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025:
1. Commissioning
