FOI Request - Teacher Numbers, Cuts and Expenditure Plans for Funding

I hereby request access to all records and communications relating to the following subjects:

1.  Teacher Staffing and Cuts:

•   Any internal or external communications (including but not limited to emails, memos, meeting minutes, briefing papers, and reports) discussing current teacher numbers, proposals for teacher cuts, or staffing adjustments.

2.  Extra Funding Allocation:

•  Communications, plans, and discussions detailing how extra education funding (announced in the December 2024 budget) is to be allocated and spent, including any strategic planning documents or financial forecasts related to this funding.

3.  Inter-Organisational Communications:

•  Any communications exchanged between [your council’s name] and COSLA, MSPs, or any other relevant governmental or oversight bodies that reference teacher numbers, teacher cuts, or the use of the extra budget funding.

I request that this information be provided for the period from January 1, 2025 to the present date (or for any records produced after January 1, 2025 that pertain to the allocation of December 2024 extra funding).
