Disclosure of information relating to the financial operation and staffing of your Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) for the most recent full financial year available (e.g. 2022/23 or 2023/24, if concluded).
I would be grateful if you could provide the following:
1. Top Remuneration
A list of the 10 highest remunerated employees within the HSCP, including for each:
Job title or role (personal names are not required) Gross annual salary Employer pension contributions Any performance or incentive bonuses Additional taxable or non-taxable benefits (e.g. car or housing allowances, relocation expenses) Total employment cost to the organisation (aggregate of all the above)
2. Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Expenditure Please provide the total expenditure on EDI-related activities, broken down where possible into the following categories:
Staff employed wholly or primarily in EDI roles (including job titles and headcount) Spending on external consultancy or training relating to EDI Internal communications, events, or awareness campaigns connected to EDI Memberships or subscriptions to EDI-focused networks, accreditors, or benchmarking organisations If detailed breakdowns are not held centrally, please provide aggregate figures with explanatory notes.
3. Ancillary Non-Clinical Expenditure
For the same financial year, please provide the total expenditure in the following categories (where applicable and available):
Staff away days, retreats, and team-building events Payments to external public relations, communications, or “reputation management” consultants Spending on corporate rebranding (e.g. new logos, signage, visual identity work) Decorative or aesthetic enhancements to premises not directly related to patient/resident care (e.g. artwork, interior design) Expenditure on climate/environmental sustainability work, including dedicated posts or projects If figures cannot be provided in this format, please advise what information is available and how the request might be reasonably adjusted.
4. Budget Pressures and Funding Gaps
Please disclose any formally identified or reported:
Funding shortfalls, “black holes” or structural deficits within the HSCP’s budget (including internal forecasts or public reporting) Measures taken or planned to address any such shortfalls (e.g. service reductions, recruitment freezes, savings targets) Whether any budget overspends have occurred in the last two financial years, and the amounts involved If applicable, the size and nature of any additional financial support requested or received from the relevant local authority or health board to cover funding gaps If any of this information is regularly reported to committees, audit bodies or integration joint boards, links to those reports may be provided instead.
