FOI Request - Advertising Budget Figures

This request aims to establish details about Local Authority budgets for advertising in local, national and international media.

Please provide your answers in spreadsheet form.

For each of the last five financial years (2024/25, 2023/24, 2022/23, 2021/22, 2020/21)  please provide the following information:

1.  The total budget spent on marketing and advertising (including promotional, statutory, jobs and other).

2.  A breakdown of how this budget was spent with regard to types of media (print, broadcast, social media etc.) ·

3. The names of the print, digital and broadcast media and amount spent on advertising with each one (either directly or through an agency)

4.  The total amount spent on publication of statutory notices

5.  The names of the media where this was spent, and amount spent on statutory notices with each one.
