I would like to request information under the Freedom of Information Act regarding the funding allocated to your Trading Standards body for addressing the upcoming ban on disposable vaping products, which is set to take effect in June.

As this new regulation will have significant implications for both retailers and consumers, it’s important to understand the financial resources being put towards its enforcement.

I’d appreciate it if you could provide the following information:

1.  The total amount of funding allocated to your Trading Standards body for the enforcement of the disposable vaping product ban from June onwards (or for the current financial year, if more appropriate).

2.  A breakdown of how this funding will be used.
