1.  How many social workers are currently employed by your local authority?

2.  How many social workers were employed by your local authority in 2015? (on this date or another date that year where you can provide the information)

3.  How many social workers were employed by your local authority in 2005? (on this date or another date that year where you can provide the information)

4.  If it's possible, can you also provide stats on how many case loads you had each year too.

Update received 20/02/2025:

By 'social worker' I mean frontline social workers who work within child and family services.

If you do not have data going back to 2005, please provide me with the data from as far back as your records show.

In terms of case loads, I would like to know how many cases each social worker currently has allocated to them as well as how many service users are receiving support from social work.

Two additional questions:

5. How many child and family cases in your system are currently unallocated to a social worker?
6. What is the current vacancy rate for all types of social worker in your local authority?
