I am completing a MSc in Environmental Management and fo my final module I am lookoing at plastic recycling in Aberdeeshire and Moray,

Please can you assist the following for Moray.

With regards to data regarding plastic recycling, information that Moray Council submit to SEPA as part of your Waste Data Flow which includes the tonnages of household plastic that Moray Council have sent for recycling.

In Moray we operate a co-mingled cans (aluminium and steel) and plastics domestic and commercial collections. We also have a small Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) which separates some of our materials into aluminium cans, steel cans, plastic bottles. These separated materials and the remaining co-mingled materials all go onto Wyllies Recycling Ltd in Perth.

Tonnages sent for 2023 calendar year are:
Aluminium 82.21
Steel Cans 107.38
Plastics 345.07
Co-mingled Loads 1193.25
Total materials sent 1727.91
