FOI Request - Street Lights Not Working
Request 101003694430
1. Do you have to repair every street light out reported?
2. Once you know the date, do you tell the person by e-mail the date the lights will be fixed?
3. Roughly how long after being reported will the lights be fixed? Is there a maximum amount of days that you have to stick to between the reporting date and the fixing date?
4. Will the person receive an e-mail once the lights have been fixed?
Response 22-01-2025
1. Yes. Note: the Council is not responsible for street lighting apparatus on the trunk road network (the A96 from Aberdeen to Inverness, and the A95 from Keith to Aviemore, inc. all streets along this route).
2. No
3. We aim to repair all known street lighting faults within five working days. However, efforts are made to group faults into geographical areas in order to maximize the efficiency of our repair crews. This may result in us not being able to meet the five working days target on every fault (we currently have a reduced team due to various reasons which has been having an impact on our repair time of the faults reported).
4. No
