1.  Not held. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.

Historically, disabled parking spaces have been sited to provide access to shops and facilities within town centres or associated with a space near a property. Due to the historic nature of our roads and car parks some spaces would not meet the current criteria. When faced with the decision to provide compliant spaces or where residents are seeking a space, we prioritise the resident request over full compliance. If full compliance is a requirement in the future we would then have to remove popular, well-used and requested spaces. It is therefore a balancing act, and each case is looked at on an individual basis.
