FOI Request - Bin Collection Changes

This is an information request relating to scheduled bin collection changes.

1.  How frequently are bins collected from residential properties? Please provide the frequency for each type of bin and the day its collected

2.  Is the council considering changing the frequency of bin collections?
•   If so please provide the current frequency as well as the new proposed frequency.

Response 07-01-2025

1.Domestic general waste collected every 3 weeks.
Domestic recycling collections for glass, mixed cans and plastics, paper and card collected every 3 weeks.
Food waste (and garden waste mixed, if permit purchased) collected every 2 weeks.  
Collections made every Monday to Friday, over 200 routes serviced. No weekend domestic collections.

2. No planned service changes.
