Between the date 01.08.2023 - 17.08.2024, please confirm the following:

1. The number of new foster carers approved by the Moray Council.

For each of these approvals please confirm:
 a) the date of approval,
 b) the number of children approved for,
 c) the age and gender of approval (if applicable)
 d) the level the foster carer(s) were approved at
 e) if the approval was for respite, short term, long term or permanent placements (or any other variation of  approval)

2. Please confirm the  number of foster carers who had availability for a placement during this time.  

For each of these places please confirm the following:
a)  The date the placement became available
b)  The level of the foster carer with availability
c)  The approval of the foster carer with availability
d)  The date the placement was filled
e)  The type of placement the place was filled with (respite, short term, long term or permanent)

1. The number of new foster carers approved by the Moray Council is less than 5. Due to the low numbers involved, release of this information could result in the identification of individuals. This information is therefore exempt under Section 38(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Personal Information. 

2. 9 – this number is taken from the end of August 2024
