FOI Request - Blue Badges Cancelled or Confiscated

1.  Numbers of disabled blue badges cancelled or confiscated as a result of misuse in each of the last five years, i.e. 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and (so far) in 2024.

2.  Should you have specific information on how many of these involved the use of dead people’s badge, that would be appreciated.

3.  Could you also please provide the number of prosecutions begun for misuse within this timescale as well.

1. We have not cancelled any blue badges for misuse – any reports of that is when we write to people reminding them not to misuse and confirm we have received a report of such – usually from car parking or a member of the public, but none have been cancelled.
