1.  How many units of illegal vapes were seized in your local authority in each of the last four complete tax years and the current tax year todate? (If you compile data by calendar year and it's easier for you to provide the data in this time period, that's okay.)

2.  Generally, what were some of the reasons these were seized? For example, because the products contained illegal substances/were not labelled properly/were sold to underage people?

3.  For the most recent period (the current tax year to date if possible), please provide as much information about the seizures as possible. I'm wary that you might not be able to give precise locations and dates of seizures but, for example, if you could say how many seizures there were by town in this time period.

4.  Can you provide examples of that sanctions you take against people/organisations found to have illegal vapes? For example, is it just a case of referring them to the Crown Office for potential prosecution or do you have other censures at your disposal, such as withdrawing trading licences?

5.  And how many times in the most recent time period have you used those censures?

6.  Can you give some examples of the brand names of the illegal vapes you seized?

7.  What do you do with the seized vapes? For example, do you destroy them or do you refer them to a third-party service for destruction?
