1) Please provide any information you have indicating how many times in EACH of the last three financial years and so far this financial year that the council has been made aware of reports of school children being targeted in sextortion scams. For clarity, sextortion can refer to a variety of offences committed online. It is most often used to describe online blackmail, where criminals threaten to release sexual/indecent images of you, unless you pay money or carry out their demands. Please break the figures down for each year. Please also state the youngest age of those targeted.
