1.  The number of households in which a veteran is registered as living that have been at risk of homelessness in your local authority, in each month since the start of the financial year 2018/19;

2.  The number of households in which a veteran is registered as living that have been at risk of homelessness in your local authority due to a Section 21 notice, in each month since the start of the financial year 2018/19;

3.  The number of households in which a veteran is registered as living that are currently (as of November 2024) at risk of homelessness in your local authority.

4.  The number of veterans that were on a social housing waiting list in your local authority, in each month since the start of the financial year 2018/19;

5.  The average length of time spent by a veteran on a social housing waiting list in your local authority, since the start of the financial year 2018/19;

6.  The longest time a veteran has spent on a social housing waiting list in your local authority since the start of the financial year 2018/19;

7.  The number of complaints made by veterans in social housing about their social housing provision to your local authority, in each month since the start of the financial year 2018/19;

8.  The number of veterans that contacted your local authority asking for financial support of any kind in each month since the start of the financial year 2018/19.

We can disclose the annual figures for the dates you request however, should they be of interest to you.  Note, these are for Homeless Intentional and Unintentional and Threatened with Homeless Intentional and Unintentional (Total 119).

2. Not applicable. Section 21 Notices are used in English law - not in Scottish law. The equivalent "no fault" eviction notice was abolished in Scotland when the new Private Rented Tenancies (PRTs) were introduced.

Points are awarded based on an applicant’s circumstances. The total number of points determines the applicant’s position on the housing list at any given time. The Allocations Policy does not award any points associated with length of time on the list. An applicant’s circumstances may worsen or improve during the life of their housing application.  This means their total number of points may be reassessed.
