For each academic year from 2019/20 to 2023/24, please provide the average class-contact time per week that full-time equivalent (FTE) teachers to work in (a) primary and (b) secondary schools in your local authority.

If possible, can you please provide the average maximum class-contact time per week FTE teachers work in (a) primary and (b) secondary schools in your local authority.

This data should exclude headteachers to focus on the average maximum weekly hours worked by teachers in regular teaching roles.

Definition: Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Teachers refers to teachers working full-time hours under a standard teaching contract in your local authority, excluding headteachers or any other positions with additional managerial responsibilities.
