FOI Request - Number of Unsuccessful Interview Applicants for Teaching Posts

I would like to request information regarding the recruitment process for teaching positions within your local authority. Specifically, I am interested in:

The number of applicants who were scored unsuccessfully during interviews for teaching positions over the past three years. Please provide data broken down by year.

In order to find this information we would have to investigate each job manually. At approximately 900 jobs (for the three years) at 5 minutes each this task would cost the Council in excess of £600 of staff time. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (excessive cost), we are therefore unable to comply with this request.
