FOI Request - Class Enrolement Sizes

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act regarding class enrolment sizes and available class spaces for Bishopmill Primary School in Elgin.

Specifically, I would like to obtain data on enrolment and available class spaces for both children within and outside the catchment area for;

P6 from 01/08/2022 to 30/07/2023
P7 from 01/08/2024 to 30/10/2024
Please include the following details for each;
* Enrolment numbers
*Spaces that became available and when they were filled

Response 14-11-2024 

During the period 01/08/2023 – 30/07/2024
P6 – August 23 – July 24 enrolments – we enrolled 2 x P6 pupils
P7 – August 23 – July 24 enrolments – we enrolled 3 x P7 pupils

During the period 01/08/2024 – current

Our current P6 classes are:
P6G with 32 pupils with a class capacity of 33 – leaving one in zone space
P6S with 33 pupils with a class capacity of 33 – leaving no spaces
P7A with 31 pupils with a class capacity of 32 – leaving one in zone space
P7P with 31 pupils with a class capacity of 32 – leaving one in zone space

Please note that although a P7 class can take up to 33 pupils, the classroom capacity at Bishopmill is only 32 due to the size of the actual room. It therefore cannot achieve maximum pupil capacity for the year group.

P6 – August 24 enrolments – we enrolled 4 x P6 pupils
P7 – August 24 enrolments – we enrolled 2 x P7 pupils
