2.  The number of people who presented as homeless where the reason for the homeless presentation was recorded as “Required to leave accommodation provided by Home Office as asylum support” so far in 2024 broken down by month.

3.  Does your Council have an estimate of the number of people who will approach you for housing/homeless support between today’s date and the end of 2024 where the reason will be “Required to leave accommodation provided by Home Office as asylum support”.

1.  6 Applicants with families. (23 people in total)

2.  Nil.

3.  We do not currently have Asylum Accommodation funded by the Home Office in our local authority. We do expect that there will be Asylum dispersal in our area but cannot estimate what the numbers will be.
