Based on most up to date figures, please could you provide me with information in respect of the following questions:

1. How many second homes recorded in 2022, 2023 and 2024

2. How many empty homes recorded in 2022, 2023 and 2024

3. How many long-term empty homes (empty for more than 6 months) recorded in 2022, 2023 and 2024

As our Council Tax database is continually changing, we are not able to retrospectively look back at the database from 2022 and 2023. The answers below were obtained from a report run 1st October 2024.

1. There are 682 Council Tax properties denoted as second homes

2. There are 1881 empty Council Tax properties

3. There are 1331 Council Tax properties empty for more than 6 months
