Based on the precise date 1st October 2024, please could you provide me with information in respect of the following questions:

A.  How many short-term let licence applications have you received in total and then broken down by: (a) home sharing; (b) home letting; (c) home sharing and home letting and (d) secondary letting and (e) secondary letting in each Council Ward?

B.  How many short-term let licences have been: (a) granted (b) granted with additional conditions over and above the mandatory conditions (c) withdrawn and (d) rejected?

C.  How many licence applications have not yet been considered and will be a deemed grant per existing provisions in the Civic Government (Scotland) Act?

D.  What short-term let licensing fees have been collected so far?

E. Do the fees collected represent (a) cost recovery (b) deficit (c) surplus, reflecting the administration costs of the scheme?

F.  In respect of new STL regulations, how many planning applications have been received in total broken down by: (a) planning permission for change of use to STL (b) Certificate of Lawfulness (COL) under ten years and (c) COL over ten years?

G.  How many planning / COL applications have been: (a) granted (b) withdrawn and (c) rejected?

H.  What fees have been collected in respect of short-term let planning applications or COLs since October 2022?

E. (a) Fees are set on a cost recovery only basis.

H. Over the period requested, planning fees for general holiday accommodation such as chalets (applications and certificates of lawfulness) since Oct 2022 came to £24,176. Applications or COLS’s specifically for “Short Term Lets” came to £3,900.
