1)  How many copies of the following textbook that schools within the local authority have purchased in the following financial years: 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 and so far in 2024-25. Textbook in question: Any editions of the National 4/5 Modern Studies: Comprehensive Textbook to Learn CfE Topics (Leckie Course Notes by Elizabeth Elliot, Jenny Gilruth and Jenny Reynolds). Please also state the cost associated with purchasing the number of copies acquired in each financial year.

2)  The total number of copies of this textbook that each publicly funded secondary school has within the local authority.

In order for us to answer your request, thousands of invoices would have to be looked through. Given the time it would take to do this work manually, this would cost the Council in excess of £600. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, excessive cost, we are therefore unable to comply with your request.
