Good afternoon,
I would like to appeal the decision to withhold disclosure of which MPs have raised the corresponding cases.
A privacy exemption can't apply to a public office holder engaging in public tasks.

Following your request for a review (our ref: 101003644183) of your Freedom of Information (FOI) Request - MP Cases Submitted from July 2024 101003629953, a review meeting was held on 30th September 2024. In attendance were the Information Governance Manager and Data Protection Officer, Strategy and Performance Manager, Senior Solicitor, and Information Co-ordinator.
Your FOI Request from 28th August 2024 was discussed.
We reviewed our response of 18th September 2024. Regarding your request for review, we have looked at our records again and confirm that there were actually only 7 cases in the given time period.
The 'number of cases' report on MP Enquiries relates to requests for service raised on behalf of constituents; noting there were no MP Complaints raised on behalf of constituents during the period between 4th July and 29th August.
