I am writing to request an internal review of Moray Council's handling of my FOI request 'Electively Home Educated children and children not in school.'.

Would you please check the accuracy of your reply, you stated 30 in response to how many s437(1) had been served, is this correct?

Following your request for a review (our ref: 101003640530) of your Freedom of Information (FOI) Request - Home Educated Children Not In School 101003616680, a review meeting was held on 30th September 2024. In attendance were the Information Governance Manager and Data Protection Officer, Virtual School Head Teacher, Senior Solicitor, and, Information Co-ordinator.

Your FOI Request from 5th August 2024 was discussed.

We reviewed our response of 13th September 2024. Regarding your request for review, we confirm that the information given as response to your question 3: "How many s437(1) formal notices to satisfy have you served on parents regarding home educated children?" was incorrect.

The correct answer should have been 0.

This was a mistake due to human error. We would like to thank you for pointing this out and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
