1.  How many homes are currently deemed as long-term vacant in your local authority (i.e. have been empty) for over six months?  

2.  How many of these properties have been vacant for over a) two years, b) five years and c) ten years?

3.  In 2023/2024, how many empty homes were brought back into use (i.e reoccupied)?

1. At 3 September 2024 there were 1348 properties which were shown on Moray Council’s Council Tax database as having been vacant for more than six months.

2. At 3 September 2024 there were 298 properties which were shown on Moray Council’s Council Tax database as having been vacant for more than two years

3. Not held. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.
