1. Please provide me with the total number of teaching staff in your local authority.

4. Please provide me with the a) number and b) percentage of teaching staff in your local authority who are taking or have taken, a period of absence from work due to long term sickness.

2.&3. Not held. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held. There is no longer a national compulsory retirement age and as such we process retirement and early retirement requests as and when applications are received.
We can however provide the staff profile information as at the September 2023 census. The information for September 2024 is still being collated and will be available by the end of October 2024.
